Hello, Poets and Poetry Lovers! I hope today finds you happy and well. It’s been a bit busy here. Darling Youngest is finally learning to drive! We’ve already been through this with Darling Eldest, but it still feels like a whole new process. The kids have pretty different personalities and different motivations for wanting to learn. But though the journeys look different, the destination remains the same. How about you? Are you learning to do something new too?
Let’s take a quick journey into the future for Wednesday’s prompt. Magaly would like us to write poetry or prose inspired by John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s quote: “War is over! If you want it.”
On to the pantry. I’m taking poetry and prose, fiction and non-fiction, old and new. Just remember to keep prose offerings to 369 words or fewer and one entry per person please.
