Hello, Word Artists and Admirers! For this week's poetry prompt I'd like us to think about lists. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to compose either a list poem or prose piece that incorporates the idea of a list. I am taking new or considerably reworked pieces, poetry and prose, fiction and non fiction. One piece per person please and do keep your prose artistry to 369 words or fewer. Thanks!
I've always liked this musical list
Thanks, Rommy! Cute song. I hadn't heard that one before.
ReplyDeleteI love your list. Mine is perhaps more 'the idea of a list' – or a very short list with a lot of other stuff around each item. I'd like to try an actual list too, some time soon. Yours looks like such fun!
The idea of a list works too. :D Thanks for playing along!
DeleteThank you for the prompt and the tune, Rommy. Music makes the bad good and the good better.
ReplyDeleteHappy readings, everyone!
I remember loving that song as a kid, even though I had no clue what it was about. :D
DeleteWorking on a 'considerably re-worked poem' ~~~ lists are good.
ReplyDeleteWell scratch that ~~~ NO WAY can I make the re-write work. Back to the drawing board.
DeleteThank you for trying! I'll still be here checking stuff over, and you can always add it to the Sunday pantry too.
DeletePlease read my post
ReplyDeleteI don't see anything added by you to Mr. Linky. At this point, it might be better to add your link to the Sunday Pantry when it comes out. The topic is open on Sundays though the word count limit for prose pieces still applies.
DeleteThanks for the prompt Rommy. That album was one of the best things to happen during my high school years.
ReplyDeleteNice blog you haave
