Friday Writings #113: Modern Marvel

Hello, Word Artists and Admirers! I was diagnosed with sleep apnea recently. It didn't come as a shock because I had been suspicious for a bit I might have the condition so it didn't come as a shock. Though the speed at which the doctor moved to get me a C-PAP was alarmingly quick (apparently my blood oxygen level on the test was Quite Concerning).

It's been a few weeks now... and I LOVE my C-PAP. Sure, it took me a little bit to get used to it. But I wake up in the morning feeling like I'm in my 30's again.
Better living though science!

So that leads me to today's optional prompt. In honor of my C-PAP machine I'd like you to write about your favorite modern convenience or invention. Poetry and prose are welcome, as are fiction and non-fiction. Just remember, one piece per person and please keep your pieces to 369 words or fewer.

Next week Rosemary will ask us to write about telling secrets.

  1. I just wanted to say hello and I like the prompt but in the wee hours of the morning, fumbling in the dark, I transposed my words and the best thing seemed to be delete and start over. And TGIF!
