So, my
dear poets and storytellers, for today’s optional prompt, I invite you to create
poetry or prose inspired by Marja’s words: “Write love letters to wild
flowers”.
As always, if the prompt doesn’t speak to you, share a piece that does. Let it be new or old, fiction or nonfiction, short or longish (369 words or fewer). Add the direct link to your post. One link per participant, please. Visit other writers. And let them know what their ink does for your thoughts.
next week, Rommy will ask us to write about what comes to mind when we hear the phrase “light as a feather”.

Thank you for the lovely prompt!
ReplyDeleteYou're most welcome, Lisa.
DeleteI enjoy writing of flowers, wild or captive. Starting January 14, 2007, I have used my label, Flowers, of 1855 posting, only 15 times, but 83 writings using the word flowers. It seems like more than that, I am sure I didn't always remember to choose it. Maybe I should count "Flower" instead of "Flowers"??
ReplyDeleteThat was a fun prompt line from Marja, thank you all.
..
I am so glad you enjoyed yourself, Jim. And I add my thanks to yours and send them to Marja.
DeleteHa, 'flowers, wild or captive' – I love that, Jim!
DeleteApologies, I'm late getting here this time. Busy putting final touches to the memoir. By golly, it's hard work at this point!
ReplyDeleteApologies? If you are apologizing for a linking a bit late, I should probably start begging for forgiveness. Since I'm adding my bit hours and hours and hours after you. 😅
DeleteAnd I'm so glad you're almost done with your memoir. Can't wait to read it!
