Friday Writings #98: Earth, Air, Fire, Water

Greetings, dear poets and storytellers. I hope you are well. Or, at least, as well anyone can be, considering the current state of affairs. I’ve been trying to take the news in very small doses. I’m quite sure the alternative would lead to despair. There is so much chaos and discord. We (all right, I) need a steady measure of empathy, peace, balance.

With that thought, that wish, that hope… in mind, for today’s optional prompt, I invite you to be inspired by one (or more) of the four classical elements: Earth, Air, Fire, Water. And if you are feeling extra inspired, all consider the element of Spirit. For me, earth, air, fire, water, and spirit, always conjure a sense of balance.
